  1. Slide the buckle onto the belt.
  2. Try it on and adjust until you find the right length.
  3. Mark the desired end, leaving 10–15 cm of excess leather.
  4. Remove, check the mark, and cut straight using strong scissors or a utility knife.
  5. Optional: smooth the edge and apply a little wax for a clean finish.
