Meet Clémence the French chef behind pop-up dinners @nepleureplus
From her childhood in a farming family in the Loiret region, she remembers large, generous tables open to everyone, seasonal meals, and tears at the thought that her plate was almost finished! And from her architecture studies in Paris, she recalls the dinners hosted by a friend of hers at his house for Japanese visitors… A few years later, Clémence moved to Copenhagen, joined an architecture firm and started organising dinners inspired by French traditions and recipes from her childhood.
Neither a restaurant nor a catering service, Clémence sets the table and welcomes into her home a dozen guests – mixing up friends, friends of friends and strangers – like a table d’hôtes. Don’t ask her if @nepleureplus is a “hobby.” So much care and creativity goes into sourcing each ingredient that goes into her recipes and each object that decorates her tables, creating a warm, gourmet experience that warms 💛.

A few film photos of designer @anne_aziliz community garden in Copenhagen. In this large courtyard bordered by buildings, the greenhouse and the garden form a convivial, co-built and co-managed living space – where everyone lends a hand in exchange for a small cultivation area. Here, we do not say “co-ownership board”, we say “cooperative”! A choice of words that embodies the Danish philosophy of togetherness, with a shared garden.
